摘要: Present Ethnobotanical study was carried out during summer 2008 in spatial and temporal areas of Neelum valley Muzaffarabad Kashmir. Research revealed data that twelve Gymnosperm species are being employed different ethnomedicines, food, fodder, shelter other domestic purposes. A total 65 people both gender (age: 45-80 yrs) were interviewed using qustioaniaree, direct participant observation demonstration technique method. comprehensive profile the plants comprised of: botanic names, vernacular family, distribution, occurrence, economic benefits, ethnomedicinal uses, preparation administration modes. All information compared with previous literature concurrently eliminating irrational reports culminating this knowledge into plausible applicable format. The inhabitants area used for multi-purpose have a long time been dependent on surrounding plant resources life subsistence. Pinus roxburgii Sarg., P. wallichiana A. B.
