摘要: The DNA content of spermatids mice carrying Cattanach's translocation has been measured with high precision by flow cytometry. observation that the two peaks in haploid region histograms represent X-and Y-bearing was tested and confirmed. Using cytometry, difference between X Y chromosomes these to be 5.2±0.1% total genome as compared 3.4±0.1% normal mice. These results demonstrated cytometry for cytogenetic studies. Additional information on spermatogenesis bearing obtained showed a gradual loss cells during those balanced form translocation.
