摘要: Abstract Zinc transporters (ZnTs) are membrane proteins involved in zinc ion transportation mammalian cells. Seven members of ZnT family, ZnT1–7, have been cloned and characterized. These transporter different cellular sub-cellular locations, suggesting that they may play roles homeostasis normal pathological conditions tissues. Cerebellum is one the most zinc-enriched regions central nervous system, but little known about metabolism cerebellum. In present study, we investigated detailed distributions four (ZnT1, ZnT3, ZnT4 ZnT6) mouse Immunostaining confocal microscopic observations revealed a similar staining pattern ZnTs molecular layer Purkinje cell layer. Double labeling with anti-S-100β or anti-MAP2 anti-ZnTs clearly showed Bergman glial bodies their radial processes exhibited strong immunofluorescence all tested ZnTs. However, somata cells contained moderate immunostaining for ZnT1, virtually lack other three granular layer, appeared patterns. ZnT1 was expressed small number neuronal primary dendrites, whereas ZnT3 were nerve terminals not somata. ZnT6 undetectable either The results indicate an important role cerebellar cortex.
