Small Carnivores of Karnataka: Distribution and Sight Records

摘要: During a study from November 2001 to July 2004 on ecology and status of wild mammals in Karnataka, we sighted 143 animals belonging 11 species small carnivores about 17 that are expected occur the state Karnataka. The included Leopard Cat, Rustyspotted Jungle Small Indian Civet, Asian Palm Brown Common Mongoose, Ruddy Stripe-necked Mongoose unidentified Otters. Malabar Fishing Nilgiri Marten, Ratel were not during this study.
