摘要: Vane clocking is the circumferential indexing of adjacent vane rows with identical counts. affects performance, tone noise propagation, and forced response characteristics in compressors. Recent experiments performed embedded stage Purdue 3-Stage Research Compressor showed significant differences Rotor 2 resonant depending on configuration Stator 1 2, as measured by an Agilis Non-Intrusive Stress Measurement System. This research focused computing fluid-structure interaction observed this experiment to gain further insight into flow physics associated clocking. AU3D, implicit, unsteady, unstructured, compressible solver used compute effects response, results are compared experimental data.
