摘要: PURPOSE: This study analyzes different protocols adopted in 86 electrostimulated graciloplasties performed during the last eight years, comparing functional and manometry results 63 patients. METHODS: Electrostimulated were to construct a neosphincter after surgical removal of anorectum for cancer 75 patients substitute anal sphincter 11 fully incontinent An intermittent stimulation protocol, using external devices, was applied first 68 patients, while long-term carried out with implantable stimulators intramuscular electrodes 18 Sixty-three remaining under evaluated by questionnaires, continence scores, manometry. RESULTS: In submitted stimulation, achieved 71 percent 42 “neosphincters” rectal resection 33 3 Adopting chronic electrodes, reached 100 83 percent, respectively. Significant differences also observed resting voluntary pressure values between intermittently chronically stimulated Incontinent showed significant increases mean maximum pressures: from 13.3 60.5 mmHg 32 103 mmHg, respectively (P< 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: confirms efficacy validity bilateral, “one-time” graciloplasty reconstruct or sphincter.
