摘要: Sm${\mathrm{B}}_{6}$ has been found to show no magnetic ordering down a temperature of 0.35\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K. We interpret this mean that the Sm ion is in its nonmagnetic divalent configuration at low temperatures and find direct evidence for changing electronic from trivalent with decreasing observed semiconducting behavior temperatures.
