摘要: Atoms in a three-dimensional boron lattice have five-fold coordination when situated the vertex positions of B6 octahedron: they share four bonds with atoms same octahedron and fifth one points outwards along A4 axes octahedron. The presence this bond is responsible for occurrence structure. Only two families boron-rich borides structures based on CaB6-type hexaborides ThB4-type tetraborides.
