摘要: Cold spray (CS) is a unique spraying process where the materials are not melted in gun. Instead, particles kinetically deposited on substrate at low temperature using compressed gas. This study investigates deposition behaviour of different particle shape Al coating pressure cold sprayed (LPCS) through smoothed hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations, which achieved by modelling multiple impacts substrate. The impact analysed evaluating deformation, porosity between particle, and effect stress results show that irregular shapes (horizontal vertical ellipse) tend to detach bonded from thus increase potential risk high tensile stress. That really harmful quality, never happens for spherical particle. Deposition exhibits depth coating, whereas compressive Compressive generally ensure longer component life due their positive fatigue wear resistance application.
