摘要: A new method was developed which enables chemotaxis parameters to be measured at a single-cell level inside capillary for the first time. The chamber consists of two reservoirs communicating through tube 50 {micro}m in diameter. Chemotaxis are using image analysis, after nearly linear attractant concentration gradient has been generated along by diffusion. Compared previously published techniques, this provides well-characterized chemoattractant profile addition allowing fine capillary. This procedure used measure Escherichia coli K12, and results compared data on single E. cells chemotaxing bulk.
