摘要: Bacille Calmette-Guerin vaccine (BCG) vaccination is used routinely in most of countries, especially developing one. The efficacy the BCG generally decreases with time. tuberculin skin test (TST) a popular diagnostic for suspicion tuberculosis (TB) children till now, but it has many false positives. interferon-gamma release assay (IGRA) more specific than TST detection childhood TB, as to Mycobacterium tuberculosis.Evaluate interferon gamma response and reaction vaccinated east Egypt.150 were included study aged 1 month 12 years; collected data from included, full history taking, clinical examination, examination presence or absence scar under direct light. All had performed TST, IGRA.TST was done all studied group reveal 51.3% size <5 mm, 39.3% = 5 9 mm while 9.3% ≥10 mm. Mean 4.07 Interferon (3.3%) positive test. There significant difference between age (P < 0.01) old frequent show reaction. Also, range year frequently have negative IGRA test, 4 years 0.01). moderate agreement results (Kappa [κ] 0.475). With high absent (κ 1000).Therefore, assays higher specificity lower cross-reactions nontuberculous Mycobacteraie TST.
