摘要: Evidence from diverse avenues of research has highlighted abnormalities in the anatomy, physiology, and function medial temporal lobe structures schizophrenia. Clinical similarities between schizophrenia psychotic disorders associated with lesions have been recognized for decades. Neuropsychological studies found selective impairments learning memory consistent dysfunction. Neuroimaging identified that correlated clinical features. Postmortem findings hippocampus entorhinal cortex included differences neuron density, size, arrangement; synapse-related proteins; alterations monoaminergic glutamatergic innervation receptor distribution; expression cytoskeletal proteins. These appear most models aberrant development
