摘要: We give a brief tutorial description of techniques for determination wave modes and propagation directions in geospace, based on multi-component measurements the magnetic electric field fluctuations. One class analysis methods is assumption presence single plane can be used to determine direction vector. If more complex, containing waves which simultaneously propagate different and/or modes, concept distribution function becomes important. It estimation continuous energy with respect wave-vector direction. This furthermore generalized modes. As an example satellite data, our emphasis application these high-frequency waves, Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR). analyze multicomponent data MEMO instrument obtained using multiple antennas onboard Interball 2 spacecraft. Results are compared. The intense structured AKR emission found predominantly R-X mode distributed relatively wide peaks at oblique angles terrestrial field. expected, sources correspond active regions auroral oval.
