Propagation Characteristics of Auroral Hiss Observed by Akebono Satellite.

摘要: V-shaped hiss and saucer emission observed by the Akebono satellite in auroral region altitude range between 3, 000 km 5, were studied on their wave normal directions using 5 components of electric magnetic field data Phillips-Tikhonov regularization method. It was found that come down to spacecraft azimuthal direction is anti-symmetric with respect location frequency minimum. Ray tracing study made see how versus time characteristics emissions should be at level. The results ray shows good agreement observation, under assumption initial circularly symmetric around field, resonance cone angle.
