Color spectrograms of very-low-frequency Poynting flux data

摘要: This paper discusses a new method of processing the VLF electric and magnetic field data from Injun 5 satellite to produce color frequency-time spectrograms with indicating Poynting flux direction, up or down geomagnetic field. The sensing technique used on employs one antenna, both oriented perpendicular each other. With this antenna geometry field, can be determined cross-correlation between signals. process these signals type spectrum analyzer/cross-correlator determine as function frequency time. These displayed two-color spectrogram by using appropriate display techniques. A survey complex radio noise phenomena analyzed is presented.
