摘要: The composition of the porcine virome includes viruses that infect pig cells, ancient virus-derived elements including endogenous retroviruses inserted in chromosomes, and bacteriophages a broad array bacteria inhabit pigs. Viruses infecting pigs, among them also human as well (PERVs) are importance when evaluating virus safety xenotransplantation. Bacteriophages associated with mainly gut not relevant this context. Xenotransplantation using tissues or organs is under development order to alleviate shortage transplants. Here for first time published data describing viromes different pigs their relevance xenotransplantation analysed. In conclusion, analysis has resulted numerous new being described, although impact on unclear. Most importantly, known suspected zoonotic potential were often detected by next generation sequencing, but revealed more sensitive methods.
