摘要: Abstract Purpose To determine histopathological findings in the cochlea of human temporal bones with serous labyrinthitis. Materials and methods We compared labyrinthitis (20 cases) associated silent otitis media without to study location labyrinthitis, degree endolymphatic hydrops, number spiral ganglion cells hair cells, loss fibrocytes ligament, areas ligament stria vascularis. Results The caused significant outer lower basal ( P  = 0.006), upper  = 0.005), middle  = 0.011) cochlear turns, increase hydrops than control group  = 0.036). No difference was found inner vascularis  > 0.05). Conclusions Serous resulted hydrops.
