摘要: Clinical observation of patients with fluctuant sensorineural hearing loss following or occurring chronic otitis media led to the hypothesis that endolymphatic hydrops can result from media. Illustrative case reports are described. This resulted in a temporal bone study 560 cases which 109 bones demonstrated presence and 194 evidenced Seventy-five both hydrops, 20 were selected for more detailed histo-pathological study. An interesting finding was apical every latter group. Statistical interpretation this data helped rule out coincidental chance occurrence. A discussion clinical relationship included significance subclinical (silent) as possible cause hydrops.
