摘要: This case study article discusses the history and development of International Organisation Social Tourism (ISTO) its role in social tourism policy provision today. It will examine origins concept, how it developed a historical context organisation has responded to challenges this brought. The main milestones be contextualised: from foundation ISTO (then Bureau du Tourisme Social, BITS which became September 2010) 1963, over Montreal Declaration 1996 Addendum Aubagne 2006. Although is historically mainly European phenomenon, global organisation, therefore highlight examples projects other parts world. In conclusion, review most recent that face today propose avenues for future as proposed by ISTO.
