摘要: A micromethod for the determination of serum butanol-extractable hormonal iodine, using an ashing technique and adapted to Beckman DU spectrophotometer, is described. The adaptation method this spectrophotometer has been achieved by employing inhibitory effect Ag+ on iodide catalysis ceric-arsenious reaction. Chemical kinetics pertaining catalytic I− cericarsenious reaction are analyzed discussed. Under conditions procedure, oxidation-reduction follows a first-order rate, therefore linear calibration curve can be constructed relating concentration added I−. This effectively eliminates potential contaminants such as mono- diiodotyrosine, inorganic iodide, heavy metal.
