摘要: Only 3% of women with breast cancer participate in clinical trials nationwide. The lack awareness about is a significant barrier towards participation. A study was conducted at large urban Comprehensive Cancer Center to test (1) the effectiveness an 18-min educational video on improving attitudes toward and enrollment among new patients seen Karmanos Institute, (2) assess racial differences regarding trials. Participants were randomized either intervention prior their first oncology clinic appointment or standard care. baseline 2-week post-intervention survey participation completed by participants.
