摘要: Abstract The photooxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as benzene, toluene, and cis- 1, 2-dichloroethylene (DCE) using low-pressure mercury UV lamp the irradiation source is described. kinetics gas phase was evaluated by varying different conditions, initial concentrations VOCs, intensity radiation, humidity, temperature reaction medium. results showed that with relatively low radiant capable destroying various types pollutants. rates increased presence moisture chloride radical in mixture, effect more pronounced for reactive hydrogen. indicate process ideal on-site non-combustion destruction organics present off-gas resulting from treatment technologies soil-vapor extraction air stripping.
