摘要: Both ultraviolet (UV) and ultrasound (US) systems are used in degrading of organic contaminants they can thus be applicable simultaneously as an UV/US hybrid system attempts further to increase the degradation efficiency. The pseudo-first order rate constants with UV, US irradiation were 2.60, 10.34, 14.81 × 10 -3 min -1 , respectively. It was observed that synergistic effect for bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). highest DEHP found during factor (SEF) calculated 1.15 based on constants. Results indicate is closely correlated enhancement sonochemical reactivity UV-US interaction increasing formation OH by providing additional H2O2 production through pyrolysis water molecules irradiation.
