摘要: The cyclic strain approach is useful for determining the fatigue life of notches strained in elastic-plastic region. Examples are flame-cut edges cutouts ship steel structure. After description stress-strain behavior usual mild steel, individual elements described: probability distribution load amplitudes, relationship between and local strain, damage parameter life, and, finally, accumulation law. illustrated by two examples longitudinal/transverse web interactions.
