摘要: A formulation is presented for the fatigue reliability assessment of imperfect structural components. The model adopts R6 method, which combines linear elastic fracture mechanics approach and full plastic collapse. utilisation different steel strength design solutions studied. Reliability predicted by a time variant effect maintenance taken into account. It shown that savings in cost due to lighter structure higher are mitigated more frequent inspections eventually repairs.
