摘要: The clinical management of inflammatory pain requires an optimal balance between effective analgesia and associated safety risks. To date, mechanisms with are not completely understood because their complex nature the involvement both peripheral central mechanisms. This Expert Consensus document is intended to update clinicians about evolving areas practice and/or available treatment options for patients pain. An international group experts in covering pharmacology, neurology rheumatology fields carried out independent qualitative systematic literature search using MEDLINE, EMBASE Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials. Existing guidelines provide recommendations that do satisfactorily address achieve outcomes, drug choices should be individualized guarantee best match characteristics patient properties medication. NSAIDs represent important prescribing choice pain, recent results on paracetamol question its appropriate use practice, raising need re-evaluation guidelines. Increasing clinicians’ knowledge pharmacologic treat different offers potential safe, decisions. We hope it will help implement needed changes by providing strategies new insights ultimate goal managing disease obtaining benefits patients. Dompe Farmaceutici SPA Paolo Procacci Foundation.
