摘要: Abstract Present work investigates electronic excitation induced cationic exchange phenomena in nano-sized cobalt ferrites using Mossabaur and X-ray absorption spectroscopies. The excitations were produced by irradiation of 100 MeV O +7 at different fluences ranging from 1 × 10 11 to 14 ions/cm 2 . Cubic spinel phase ferrite remains preserved after irradiation. However, attributes crystalline disorder observed irradiated materials. Crystallite size remain almost same for pristine fine structure measurements show the preservation valence state spin metal ions under intense excitation. These also envisage bond breaking process Mossbauer spectroscopic corroborate with that Fe Paramagnetic doublet which presents spectrum material disappears irradiation, showing evolution magnetic ordering. 3+ ion increases octahedral site lattice. Magnetization slightly fluence 5 × 10 13
