Magnetic behaviour of nanosized zinc ferrite under heavy ion irradiation

摘要: Present investigation reports the effect of 100 MeV oxygen beam on magnetic properties zinc ferrite nanoparticles. The nanoparticles for this study were synthesized by using nitrates and iron in matrix citric acid sintering precursor at 500 1000 C. Both these samples irradiated with two different fluence 1 � 10 13 5 ions/cm 2 . Besides presence cubic spinel phase, ZnO phase appears after irradiation both samples. A decrease average particle size was observed as estimated X-ray diffraction pattern. magnetization versus applied field curves show beam, which is attributed to phase. thermal curve sample ZF500 shows almost constant value blocking temperature whereas ZF1000 it increases from 18 K 32 a
