摘要: Fluoride is one of the most omnipresent groundwater pollutants. Thus objective this paper was to evaluate efficiency thermally activated dolomite for removal fluoride. An inexpensive and widely available geomaterial, dolomite, shown have excellent fluoride properties from aqueous media. The batch experiments were performed under static shaking conditions using powder where equilibrium reached just within 5 min with 90.87% removal. capacity at pH 7.0 243.25 mg g−1 which in agreement theoretically calculated value 240.21 g−1. uptake by mainly followed an ion-exchange mechanism, pseudo-second order kinetics Freundlich isotherm. Scanning electron microscopy energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) diffraction studies demonstrated as material proposed method quite effective practical defluoridation drinking well waste water comparison literature reported methods.
