摘要: The present investigation was carried out to evaluate metals concentration in ten vegetable crops growing mixed industrial effluent irrigated agricultural field near Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Differential accumulation and translocation of various selected vegetables plant species observed. A higher were found order Fe>Mn>Zn>Cd>Cu>Pb>Cr>As soil with than tube well water; however, the As, Cr Pb below detection limit water soil. Metal root top varied significantly both relations metal genotype. Among studied five species, i.e. Spinach, Radish, Tomato, Chili Cabbage showed high toxic (As, Cd, Cr, Ni) their edible parts, thus, cultivation are unsafe respect possible transfer food chain health hazards. However, it is suggested that restricting non-edible port may be recommended for such contaminated field.
