摘要: Abstract Morphological changes which accompany nutrient enrichment of Rhizobium trifolii 0403 were studied. Assays cell number and size coupled with scanning electron microscopy immunofluorescence showed that succinate induces cells to stop dividing in vitro swell either the center or at one pole. The extent frequency swelling direct relation concentration added medium. 16.6 mM plus Casamino Acids, glucose, yeast extract closely resembled bacteroids R. nitrogen-fixing nodules white clover. We hypothesize may be involved transformation vegetative bacteria into bacteroid morphology found nodules.
