摘要: Succinate uptake inBradyrhizobium japonicum 61-A-101 has a biphasic kinetic, indicating the presence of high-and low-affinity system. The apparent KM data are 2.4 μM (high-affinity system) and 172 (low-affinity system). ForEnterobacter aerogenes NCTC 10006, only one system for succinate was found with an 80 μM. InBradyrhizobium andEnterobacter aerogenes, is carrier mediated constitutive. 2,4-Dinitrophenol cyanide severely inhibit uptake, whereas arsenate inhibits to lesser extent. In both strains, fumarate also transported by Glucose significant effects on or metabolism inEnterobacter but not japonicum.
