摘要: Magnetization measurements on polycrystalline samples with nominal composition Y{sub 1{minus}{ital x}}Ca{sub {ital x}}Ba{sub 2{minus}{ital x}}La{sub x}}Cu{sub 3}O{sub 7{minus}{delta}} ({ital x}=0.0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.50, and 1.0) show that only x}=1.0 or 0.0 contain a single superconducting} phase. Gas evolution experiments (Ca,Ba,La)Cu{sub x}=1.0, {delta}{similar to}0.07) reveal the presence of an oxygen phase is indistinguishable from chain structure YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub to}0.05); however, total amount evolved very different between two phases. These studies suggest phases coexist in 7{minus}{delta}}: which La{sup 3+} ions occupy Y{sup sites, second nonsuperconducting} where Ca{sup 2+} sites.
