摘要: Biomarkers have the potential to move personalized medicine a step forward for patients' benefit. Blood is non-invasive source of biomarkers. The cell-free compartment blood has traditionally been used search biomarkers and currently cardiovascular are mainly measured in plasma or serum fractions. While most these proteins, very few belong RNA family due methodological constraints inherent assessment RNAs. Over past decade, technological developments overcome allowed RNAs cells. Thus, novel among expressed cells emerged. This review highlights transcriptome be as reservoir First, benefit using introduced. focus on biomarkers, both coding non-coding. value systems-based approaches biomarker discovery discussed. Then, current knowledge use cells' reviewed. Recent that facilitated study presented. Further axes proposed bring RNA-based clinical application. Lastly, some directions future work
