摘要: The authors report the case of a 62-year-old man referred to department oral and maxillofacial surgery because clinical suspicion palate carcinoma. Incidentally, diagnostic radiology showed metallic foreign body in left maxillary sinus. Anamnestic data revealed that shot from an air gun accidentally hit patient's cheek 1957. lead-containing pellet was removed by endoscopic antrostomy diagnosis squamous cell carcinoma confirmed histopathological examination. 50 years after pellet's impact, toxicological blood analysis no increased lead level.
