摘要: The authors have developed a single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) technique for high resolution radiotracer imaging of mice where the object is rotated instead scintillation camera. system uses 21 cm focal length pinhole collimator with 0.5 mm diameter aperture, resulting in magnification ranging from 7 to 10 and acquisition times 60 90 minutes. This method employs plastic mouse-holding tube designed address specific problems associated SPECT, including low count rates correction shift center rotation. Images novel "mouse heart" phantom demonstrated good image quality, uniformity, spatial resolution. A /sup 99m/Tc-sestamibi scan normal mouse, electrocardiogram-gated at over 400 beats per minute, allowed assessment regional myocardial perfusion evaluation ventricular wall motion. An ungated produced images millimeter quality comparable human images, allowing visualization left right myocardium.
