摘要: We examined the response of tattoo pigments treated with three commercially available lasers: Q-switched ruby, Q-Switched neodynium:yttrium, aluminum, garnet (Nd:YAG), and alexandrite. Tattoos applied to hairless guinea pigs aforementioned lasers were evaluated clinically, histologically, ultrastructurally. Clinical evaluation showed red brown, dark orange pigment responded best Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm). The alexandrite was most effective for removing blue green pigment, ruby purple violet (532 nm) removed best. Black lightened equally (755 No clinical scarring observed; however, some colors turned black after treatment. Histologic ultrastructural examination epidermal dermal damage be evident treatment laser. Our study shows that certain respond better different systems.
