摘要: Introduction The purpose of this retrospective study was to evaluate imaging features undifferentiated carcinoma the pancreas. Methods group included eight patients with surgically resected Multidetector-row computed tomography (MDCT, n = 8) and magnetic resonance (MRI, 6) findings were retrospectively reviewed. Results On MDCT, all cases hypovascular upstream main pancreatic duct (MPD) dilatation, only 1 showed exophytic growth. Five (62.5%) necrosis/cystic change, calcification observed in two (25%). Calcification reflected tumour osteoid components. MRI, haemorrhage hemosiderin 4 6 (66.7%) cases. In addition, thrombus splenic vein (n 1) intraductal growth MPD 2) pathologically identified, although studies revealed these latter Conclusion Undifferentiated pancreas may present as a haemorrhagic necrosis. Coexistence calcification, support diagnosis entity.
