摘要: Workarounds in business processes and information systems (IS) have attracted research attention recent years. Deviating from official processes, workarounds are goal-driven adaptations. Understanding the underlying problems or perceived barriers that motivate is essential for suggesting appropriate solutions which would lead to process IS improvement. The premise taken this paper often motivated by misalignments between organizational goals, goals of local-units actors, should realize these goals. With premise, we propose an i*-based analysis identifying such associated workarounds. We report industrial case study demonstrates associates with misalignments. Improvement recommendations were made following been accepted organization currently being implemented.
