摘要: The Thomson coefficient of superconductive lead has been determined by a direct experiment and found to be zero ( -9 V/deg.). It concluded from this result that the electrons engaged in current remain energetically at absolute zero. apparent electronic specific heat superconductor is assumed due an excitation lowest state. magnetic data suggest proportional T 3 . A purely empirical model term system for suggested which small energy gap ~10 -4 eV) separates upper limit Fermi distribution continuum higher states. frictionless transport supposed metastable states within cannot dissipated. In such number calculated order 10 -3 atoms. Attention drawn peculiar similarity between superconductors liquid helium II. cause both phenomena may essentially same—an aggregation freely mobile particles thermal follows similar rules irrespective nature involved.
