摘要: Neuroendocrine neoplasms of the colon and rectum are derived from same stem cell which gives rise to glandular cells other lining epithelium. carcinomas more common in colon, whereas neuroendocrine tumors rectum. In can be seen mixed with types including adenocarcinomas. These mainly nonfunctional, but cecum right composed EC functional rare cases cause carcinoid syndrome. share some molecular changes that these parts GI system.
