Effect of carbon nanotube doping on critical current density of MgB2 superconductor

摘要: The effect of doping MgB2 with carbon nanotubes on transition temperature, lattice parameters, critical current density and flux pinning was studied for MgB2−xCx x=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3. substitution B found to enhance Jc in magnetic fields but depress Tc. depression Tc, which is caused by the B, increases an increasing level, sintering duration. By controlling extent addition we can achieve optimal improvement while maintaining minimum reduction Under these conditions, enhanced two orders magnitude at 8 T 5 K 7 10 K. more than 10 000 A/cm2 20 4 8.5 T, respectively.
