摘要: Several studies have described important biological activities of flavonoids such as coronary heart disease prevention, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory and anticancer activities, enzyme inhibition activity, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral activities. Flavonoids show promising activity natural plant-based antioxidants due to their antioxidant free radical scavenging properties. However, primary applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food industries are limited because moderately hydrophilic nature. Enzymatic acylation polyphenols with fatty acids or other acyl donors has been suggested for improving lipophilic nature glycosylated flavonoids. This approach increases flavonoid solubility stability systems. Acylation different may also introduce beneficial properties molecule, penetration through cell membrane improved antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, cytogenetic, Chemical methods synthesis esters lead formation side products simultaneous decomposition harsh reaction conditions. In contrast, biocatalytic by lipases offers advantages associated wide availability these enzymes, low cost, chemo-, regio-, enantioselectivity, mild condition processing non-requirement cofactors. article is focused on recent development lipase-catalyzed impact
