摘要: Continued growth in the commercial aerospace industry makes aircraft manufacturers look for low maintenance, fuel efficient airplanes and engines are an important factor maintenance costs. The drive operating cost reduction leads to innovative engine architectures that can place very different requirements on supplier provided components. suppliers will then need understand predict consequences their components sub systems following new system proposed. Insights they get about of architecture changes help them be prepared future developments. This research presents two aspects behaviour aero static from a supplier: (1) component as whole (2) internal organisation so required it is achieved by system. System this context refers engine. integrated multiple functions satisfied one single structure. Studies first aspect provide measure sensitivity designs. studies also present initial framework perform such system-component interaction investigations. second way organise means product better understood subjected evaluations. Preliminary results show influence level operations cannot neglected. evaluate effects design needs further refinement with fidelity models at all levels considered. With respect components, method now exists isolate, organise, represent analyse information taking into consideration manufacturing options. focus functional physical domain decomposition reliably objectively alternative evaluated appropriate decisions made.
