摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Pregnancy prevention efforts in the USA have largely focused on use of hormonal contraceptive methods relegating male condoms to discussions dual-method contraception or sexually transmitted infection prevention. With national attention and funding directed toward adolescent pregnancy a renewed focus condom specifically addressing benefits is both timely relevant. RECENT FINDINGS: Two recent developments research are essential increasing consistent use. First there necessary shift understanding relationship dynamics As coital event level requires negotiation participation from participants. Second increased itself as determinant Improvements design feel lubrication reduced differences sexual pleasure with nonuse.
