摘要: The article examines the convergences and contrasts between social epidemiology, medicine, human rights approaches toward advancing global health equity. first section describes goals work of WHO Commission on Social Determinants Health. second discusses role in Commission’s work. third evaluates, from perspective two rights-based to equity as compared a view that focuses more broadly justice. concluding identifies four areas where epidemiologists, practitioners advocates can must together order make progress
