摘要: The purpose of this work is to describe the use Fibrin-Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF) membranes for treatment a rabbit alkali-burn lesion. For purpose, an lesion was induced 15 rabbits. A week later, clinical events were evaluated and rabbits divided into five groups: treated with medical treatment, fibrin-PRGF membrane cultured autologous or heterologous Limbal Epithelial Progenitor Cells (LEPCs), Simple Transplantation without LEPCs. After 40 days follow-up, corneas subjected histochemical examination immunostaining against corneal conjunctival markers. Seven after lesion, it observed that showed opaque cornea, new blood vessels across limbus penetrating cornea epithelial defects. At end follow-up period, improvement parameters analyzed transplanted However, only LEPCs positive Otherwise, other three groups staining In conclusion, improved chemically lesions. Nonetheless, able restore surface.
