摘要: Evidence from both preclinical and clinical studies suggest the importance of zinc homeostasis in seizures/epilepsy. Undoubtedly, zinc, via modulation a variety targets, is necessary for maintaining balance between neuronal excitation inhibition, while an imbalance inhibition underlies seizures. However, relationship signaling seizures/epilepsy complex as extracellular intracellular may produce either protective or detrimental effects. This review provides overview preclinical/behavioral, functional molecular studies, well data on involvement pathophysiology treatment Furthermore, potential targeting elements associated with levels therapeutic strategy epilepsy discussed.
