摘要: To establish evidence whether baseline anemia and decreases in hemoglobin levels affect survival after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), we performed a meta-analysis of available studies. Studies considered for inclusion met the following criteria: design was comparative study patients with versus those without or cohort investigating (as dichotomous variable) continuous as one prognostic factors mortality; population who underwent TAVI; main outcomes included early (30-day in-hospital) late (including early) all-cause mortality. Study-specific estimates were combined random-effects model. Our search identified 15 eligible studies including total 11,657 TAVI patients.
