摘要: Abstract Prenatal alcohol exposure causes alterations to the brain and can lead numerous cognitive behavioral outcomes. Long-lasting effects of early ethanol have been registered in glutamatergic dopaminergic systems. The purinergic system has as an additional target exposure. objective this research was evaluate if ecto‑5′‑nucleotidase adenosine deaminase activities gene expression adult zebrafish exposed 1% during development could be part long-lasting targets ethanol. Zebrafish embryos were two distinct developmental phases: gastrula/segmentation (5–24 h post-fertilization) or pharyngula (24–48 h post-fertilization). At end three months, after checking for morphological outcomes, evaluation enzymatic activity performed. Exposure did not promote gross defects; however, a significant decrease body length observed (17% gastrula 22% stage, p   0.05). Although mechanism underlying these findings requires further investigation, results indicate that restricted periods long-term consequences on activity, which impact subtle sequels
